First half of the trip

I had managed to survive the first half of my trip. Boston to London flight was great because I fell asleep as soon as I sat down. Although I got woken up for dinner, which was completely ok with me because I went right back to sleep and didn't wake up until breakfast. The only reason I woke up was because I heard the guy in the seat next to me opening little packages of food. Great success! :)
I was a little rushed transferring terminals in London since my next flight for Bahrain was already boarding when I got there. When I got to m seat I saw that I was going to be sitting next to a gorgeous Indian girl. Coincidentally, we talked a bit and figured out that both of our final destinations are Bangkok. She is also going to be running around Southeast Asia like myself but for three months. Her name is Megha which means 'rain' in Indian. Pretty cool! I'm really excited to get back into traveling mode and meeting new wonderful people. I guess it has already started so that is great! :)
I had a great day before leaving too. My parents made some delicious shishkebabs with rice and salad and it was absolutely delicious! We played some basketball again and I won against everyone, mostly... :) Except Jonas, he kicked my butt at the end. Oh well...
So I've been sipping on wine while packing to calm my nerves down a bit but by the time I got to the airport, I was pretty boozed up and feeling good. The nerves were still there but I was much more relaxed. Not going to lie, my eyes got a bit watery when leaving but thanks to delicious wine oh and champagne (road soda) I managed to relax and calm down. Going through security was funny. Not sure exactly how it happened but I made friends with the TSA people and ended up giving them the info about my blog. So if you're actually reading this, it was nice to meet you Edwin!
I love how random life is. You never know what's around the corner. It could be just another boring day or it could the adventure of a lifetime. So I'll keep my eyes open and my heart ready for some butterflies to flutter in.
