So long my little Pai

As I am driving away from this unique little town, I look back on my experience here and I am not sad to leave. I am happy that I got to spend a tranquil and relaxing week here, taking in all that Pai has to offer. From the cascading waterfalls, to street food, to waking up every morning and stepping outside feeling as if I've stepping right into a Thomas Kinkade painting. All of those experiences will be with me forever. Although, one thing i definitely will not miss. Bugs!! I am definitely excited to get away from the river a bit because the bugs have been absolutely horrible in Pai. So goodbye my little Pie, I am on to my next adventure in Chiang Rai!

I had these ideas of where I was in terms of my yoga practice understanding, the spirituality of it, my flexibility and many other elements that are involved in the practice of yoga, but all of that knowledge was shaken up today. There is so much that I need to learn and understand about this practice which has existed for thousands of years. All the knowledge that I thought I had needs to be put aside and I need to be like a child. Goodmorning Bangkok!

So here I am, back in the city where my Asian odyssey began. Good old Bangkok! I didn't get to explore it much the first time around because of the sensory overload my first day in Asia. I ran away from this city screaming for air, fresh air that is and more space with less people. But now, since I've been around the block a little, the Asia block that is, I feel ready to take on this beast. So I am giving it a proper chance this time. I have four and a half days to run around Bangkok and see why this city is all about. The journey from Koh Pangan took a total of 19 long hours. One boat and two bus rides later, I pulled up next to Kao San Road a little after 7am surprisingly rested and ready to take on the city.
