Ok so seeing this cartoon, reminded me about the time when I was still at the farm in Sineu. I was in the car with Bob on the way back from Palma when it was my day off. I had went to the beach that day and turned myself into.a walking lobster. Well, that is besides the point and a painful memory... After Bob picked me up from the beach, we headed back to Sineu. We passed many beautiful fields with olive and orange trees and mountains in the background. And lots of sheep. But one field had more sheep than any others did... And right in the middle of it was one black sheep! 

"Are you sure you don't want to be in the group photo"

It was the funniest thing to see, because I didn't know that black sheep actually existed in real life. I've always thought it was just that metaphor! As it turns out, they do exist, but they are very rare. The common colour trait is white or cream rather but once in a while, two white sheep produce a little black sheep. Poor family, just like humans. You never know how your cute, adorable baby will turn out. You just have to wait and see... I'll stick with sheep in the field :)

I had these ideas of where I was in terms of my yoga practice understanding, the spirituality of it, my flexibility and many other elements that are involved in the practice of yoga, but all of that knowledge was shaken up today. There is so much that I need to learn and understand about this practice which has existed for thousands of years. All the knowledge that I thought I had needs to be put aside and I need to be like a child. Goodmorning Bangkok!

So here I am, back in the city where my Asian odyssey began. Good old Bangkok! I didn't get to explore it much the first time around because of the sensory overload my first day in Asia. I ran away from this city screaming for air, fresh air that is and more space with less people. But now, since I've been around the block a little, the Asia block that is, I feel ready to take on this beast. So I am giving it a proper chance this time. I have four and a half days to run around Bangkok and see why this city is all about. The journey from Koh Pangan took a total of 19 long hours. One boat and two bus rides later, I pulled up next to Kao San Road a little after 7am surprisingly rested and ready to take on the city. I got myself and a nice tuktuk driver who ripped me off only a little bit and went for a fresh air ride through the city to my destination; the Siam Journey guesthouse.
