Some things end, others begin...

As the days to my departure from London were getting fewer, I started to reflect on my time here more with each of their passing. Having spent here almost a year, I realize how easy it is to get used to a place! Luckily I found a nice house to call home and shared that house with really nice people. From other's unfortunate housemate stories, I learned that my story worked out quite remarkably well! :) 

There are many things that I will miss but there are some things on that list which I won't miss at all. But that's life for you hey?! You float along this river of happiness, pain, sadness, excitement and discovery taking things, giving some, borrowing knowledge and sharing all those experiences with the world. After all, we're all in the same boat aren't we? Hope you can swim! :) 

Leaving the house today felt strange but I was excited to embark on this new journey. A short one compared to my previous ones but nonetheless, a lot to look forward to! Some fresh air, warm weather and lots of animals!!! :) 

Mallorca, here I come!! :D

I had these ideas of where I was in terms of my yoga practice understanding, the spirituality of it, my flexibility and many other elements that are involved in the practice of yoga, but all of that knowledge was shaken up today. There is so much that I need to learn and understand about this practice which has existed for thousands of years. All the knowledge that I thought I had needs to be put aside and I need to be like a child. Goodmorning Bangkok!

So here I am, back in the city where my Asian odyssey began. Good old Bangkok! I didn't get to explore it much the first time around because of the sensory overload my first day in Asia. I ran away from this city screaming for air, fresh air that is and more space with less people. But now, since I've been around the block a little, the Asia block that is, I feel ready to take on this beast. So I am giving it a proper chance this time. I have four and a half days to run around Bangkok and see why this city is all about. The journey from Koh Pangan took a total of 19 long hours. One boat and two bus rides later, I pulled up next to Kao San Road a little after 7am surprisingly rested and ready to take on the city.
