Live For Today

If our tomorrow is as uncertain as a 50/50 chance in a game of life, then why do we still spend our days worrying about tomorrow? If we wake up each day and go after our most passionate goals, we will do happiness itself a favor and create our own joy and contentment.

We can go after our goals as if each day will be our last one. Time is an invention of the universe and time cannot separate from us. We are it. So why are we so afraid of our own shadows? We need to become aware of the beauties of life in all of its forms; including its insecurities. We need to not worry about whether tomorrow is going to happen or not. It will happen on its own, with or without you. But you are a part of it all. 

You are more than enough.

Today is more than enough.

If we can live in a way that makes us the happiest, why do we go on playing according to some rules made by someone else we don't even know...?

We need to break free of the constrictions we put on ourselves. We need to stand up tall and believe in ourselves, in our strengths as well as in our weaknesses. Because they are each a reflection of the other. Everything has a duality. It's never just black, without the white.


As they say, there are always two sides of a coin. I think I'm recalling it wrong but hey, after all, I am from Lithuania as well as I forget things a lot 😉 

Live for today, work for your passion!

I had these ideas of where I was in terms of my yoga practice understanding, the spirituality of it, my flexibility and many other elements that are involved in the practice of yoga, but all of that knowledge was shaken up today. There is so much that I need to learn and understand about this practice which has existed for thousands of years. All the knowledge that I thought I had needs to be put aside and I need to be like a child. Goodmorning Bangkok!

So here I am, back in the city where my Asian odyssey began. Good old Bangkok! I didn't get to explore it much the first time around because of the sensory overload my first day in Asia. I ran away from this city screaming for air, fresh air that is and more space with less people. But now, since I've been around the block a little, the Asia block that is, I feel ready to take on this beast. So I am giving it a proper chance this time. I have four and a half days to run around Bangkok and see why this city is all about. The journey from Koh Pangan took a total of 19 long hours. One boat and two bus rides later, I pulled up next to Kao San Road a little after 7am surprisingly rested and ready to take on the city.
