108 Suryanamaskara Challenge 2014
It's that time of he year again! My yoga ladies, Joyce and Anissa, you must remember our Sunday morning in Mysore, India when we decided to do our own version of the already well known challenge in the yoga community. Well, this morning I woke up feeling quite unmotivated and the idea of doing my regular ashtanga yoga routine did not sound exciting to me and I saw myself quitting halfway through. Then I remembered where I was a year ago at this time and it was in Mysore @Ashtanga Yoga Mysore, along with everyone else there and Eva, who kindly took photos for us and supervised us, although she refused to participate ;)
Well here is your chance, Eva, Joyce, Anissa and anyone else who would like to test their strength, stamina, and mind-over-matter mentality.
I challenge you to challenge yourself!

You won't be doing this to prove anything to anyone and if so, only to yourself. To prove how strong you are and that you can do anything you put your mind to. It won't be easy, because it's a physically challenging hour or so or however long it takes you to complete the series. But try it! That is how I started, I said "I will try!" and although I wanted to stop so many times throughout the challenge, when my legs felt tired, when my arms were shaking. But I didn't stop! I kept going! You can too!! :)
So join me, today, tomorrow or next week. The sooner you do it, the sooner you can feel that sense of accomplishment. Come on ladies & gentlemen. Indulge me and test your own limits.
Good luck & let me know how it goes! :)
The before and after videos... :)
